Job summary

Central Peninsula Hospital, Inc. in Alaska seeks a seasoned IS professional to manage system projects, provide software support, perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and train staff on the EHR and other clinical applications.

You will participate in selecting, developing, implementing, testing, and documenting software solutions to meet CPH's clinical information needs, joining a dedicated IS team that emphasizes initiative and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• 5 years of Acute Care Nursing experience or 5 years in Systems Analysis.
• 2 years of experience working with Epic.
• State of Alaska RN license or eligibility to obtain upon hire.
• Preferred: CPHIMS, CPHIT, PMP.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary function of this position is to provide systems project management, software support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for CPH's EHR and other CPH supported clinical applications. In this role, you will participate in the selection, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of software applications to effectively support CPH's clinical information system needs. As a key member of the IS team, you will participate in improving overall IS service to CPH and its business affiliates. This position requires high self-motivation and excellent communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• 5 years of Acute Care Nursing experience or
• 5 years of Systems Analyst experience
• 2 years of experience working with Epic
• State of Alaska RN license or eligibility to obtain upon hire

PREFERRED:

• Certified Professional in Health Information Management Systems (CPHIMS)
• Certified Professional in Health Information Technology (CPHIT)
• Certified Associate in Project Management (PMP)
