Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with an ADN.
• RN licensure by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
• BLS certification to be completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing interventions consistent with the medical plan of care.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, tests, and procedures.
• Provide patient education and document responses in the medical record.
• Obtain required patient consents for research or treatment.
• Triage patient phone inquiries per protocol and document in records.
• Supervise licensed vocational nurses and support staff.
