Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced RN – Clinical Educator in Sonora, California to lead staff development and advance nursing education in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

You will coordinate onboarding, develop competency programs, mentor preceptors, document records, and partner with leadership to improve clinical practice and regulatory compliance in a flexible, 13-week assignment with a day shift.

Qualifications

• Active California RN License.
• Recent Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.
• Clinical education or staff development experience.
• Experience in a Director of Staff Development (DSD) role strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of SNF regulations preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Self-motivated with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orientation and onboarding for new nursing staff.
• Develop and deliver clinical education and competency programs.
• Mentor and support preceptors and nursing staff.
• Plan and conduct classroom and bedside education sessions.
• Maintain education records and competency documentation.
• Identify learning needs and implement staff development initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve clinical practice and regulatory compliance.
• Support quality improvement and evidence-based nursing practice.

• Schedule:
• Day Shift
• Approximately 40 hours per pay period
• Typically 3 days one week and 2 days the next
