Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Educator to coordinate staff education, deliver in-services, and support orientation for clinical staff. The role emphasizes applying adult learning principles and working with department leaders to meet educational goals.

The successful candidate will have nursing or related field education, RN licensure, and strong computer skills, with experience in clinical education and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field or ASN with 2 years experience as a clinical program educator.
• 5 years clinical experience.
• Current IA RN license.
• Competent in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point).
• Willingness to pursue ongoing traditional and non-traditional educational / training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide staff education and development activities including in-services and continuing education.
• Facilitate groups and process improvement initiatives based on identified needs.
• Assist with orientation of clinical staff.
• Address individual learning needs and apply adult learning principles.
• Act as liaison between departments interpreting policies and procedures.
