Adventist Health Tulare is seeking an Education Program Specialist to assist in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating education programs within a 108-bed hospital setting. The role focuses on meeting established goals and improving quality of care through evidence-based practice.
The position requires strong knowledge of adult education principles, creation of in-house training, and collaboration with clinical staff to support professional development and compliance with regulations.
Centrally located within the heart of California, Adventist Health Tulare has been serving the Central Valley since 2018. We are comprised of a 108-bed acute care hospital, emergency department and provide primary and specialty care services to best serve our community. Tulare is situated in a delightful and geographically diverse region. There are a variety of opportunities for all-season outdoor recreation such as camping, hiking, water and snow skiing, fishing and boating. It is also within an hour's travel time to Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. In addition to the beautiful landscape, it also offers a great cost of living and close-knit communities.
Job Summary:
Assists with the planning, developing, implementing and evaluating of education programs to ensure compliance with established goals and the realization of quality, economical health care service. Demonstrates the ability to meet the educational needs of the hospital. Creates and conducts in-house educational programs.
