Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teaches and demonstrates proficiency in patient assessment and nursing skills.
• Reinforces policies and procedures, protocols and guidelines with nursing staff.
• Coordinates nursing rounds and bedside reporting with the Nurse Manager/Case Manager, with multidisciplinary rounds as needed.
• Provides unit educational programs with preceptors and NPDS, monitoring attendance and compliance.
• Maintains professional competency through continuing education and growth.
• Communicates professionally and models expected departmental behavior.
• Collaborates to design and evaluate orientation and annual education plans.
