Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks an experienced Operating Room nurse to serve as a clinical expert, educator and coach for patients and surgical services staff. This role emphasizes ethical decision making, quality improvement and strong leadership collaboration.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, 2 years OR nursing experience, Georgia RN licensure and BCLS. An advanced specialty certification (AORN) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• RN licensure for Georgia (Georgia State Licensure) required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to promote quality using clinical expertise.
• Provide clinical care as needed when staffing or case load demands.
