Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse to join the surgical services team. You will provide clinical expertise, education, coaching, direct patient care, and collaboration with staff to support high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, an active Georgia RN license, BCLS, and at least two years of operating room experience. Advanced specialty certification is preferred and ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• RN - Georgia licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff.
• Promotes quality through the utilization of clinical expertise and provides clinical care as needed when staffing/case load demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leader(s) as needed.
