This job serves as the teacher/facilitator/consultant who works collaboratively with nursing and organizational management to implement the educational goals for the company. The role involves assessing needs, planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating education and training activities. It also includes assisting personnel to acquire, maintain, or improve psychomotor, cognitive, and affective learning to enhance patient care outcomes and improve processes and management systems.

Education
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in nursing.
Work Experience
  • Required: 3 years of nursing experience.
Certifications
  • Required: Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in computer, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Job Duties
  • Assess, design, present, and evaluate educational programs based on identified needs.
  • Participate in professional groups and associations.
  • Function as a performance consultant.
  • Coordinate training facilities and resources.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Other responsibilities include staying updated on relevant laws, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance, and maintaining adherence to the company's compliance and privacy standards. The physical demands involve medium work, with the ability to exert force as needed, and working in a healthcare environment with potential occupational risks.
