Job summary

WellMed, part of the Optum family, seeks an RN Clinical Team Manager to lead education, supervision, and coordination across nursing, home health, PT, OT, speech therapy, and social services. You will mentor staff, create training programs, and contribute to ongoing professional development while aligning with regulatory guidelines.

Travel to markets for competency validation, oversee scheduling, and participate in recruitment and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program with active RN license in Texas.
• Minimum of three (3) years RN clinical experience.
• Ability to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to travel to all markets for competencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff.
• Ensure standardized education across locations (remote or in-person).
• Conduct audits to ensure policy and competency compliance.
• Manage staff scheduling and rotation; mentor staff and participate in committees.
• Recruitment, onboarding, and development of clinical/non-clinical staff.
• Lead meetings and coordinate with Home Health leadership.
