UW MEDICAL CENTER - MONTLAKE has an outstanding opportunity for a Second Level Review Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (RN). This is a full-time, remote, day shift position.
Following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, the SLR CDIS provides expertise on focused accounts to ensure high-quality standards for risk adjustment, DRG accuracy, SOI, and ROM.
The Clinical Documentation Integrity Program (CDIP) conducts concurrent reviews of inpatient records to ensure accurate reflection of patient severity, acuity, risk of mortality, and quality of care. Team members participate in multidisciplinary committees to promote quality and safety initiatives.
