Provide clinical data integrity to the facility.
Serve as a resource for documentation in the medical record.
Perform concurrent reviews of medical records to improve documentation and educate physicians as needed.
Reports to: Director of Emergency Services
Minimum Education: Graduate of a relevant program
Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and ability to handle stressful environments.
Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days
Current registered nurse licensure in West Virginia
One year of inpatient coding experience preferred
