Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 24-bed observation/medical unit in the Clinical Decision Unit. You’ll provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, with a focus on chest pain observation and post-surgical patients.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification. This position offers a day shift schedule and a sign-on bonus eligibility for qualified candidates.

Where You Will Work

Join our 24-bed observation/medical unit at Atrium Health Cleveland, where you will care for a variety of patients. Our specialty is observation patients (chest pain, kidney stones, minor surgeries), we also take overflow medical/surgical patients on our unit. We have very strong relationships with our hospitalist group, who provide quality and compassionate care to our patients alongside our nurses.

We're Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
What You’ll Do
  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
