Job summary

Plymouth, MA—Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the night shift. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week in a fast-paced Clinical Decision Unit setting with telemetry monitoring and short-stay patients.

You will assess, plan, implement, and document care in collaboration with the care team. Applicants should hold MA RN licensure, BLS, and ideally telemetry and ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

Patient expected Length of stay is 8-48 hours, therefore the admission/transfer/discharge activity, (ADT), of this unit is expected to be high and therefore fast paced. This clinical area features a pace similar to the Emergency Room with diagnostic work ups and care needs in a telemetry setting.Duties/Responsibilities:Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, educate and document the nursing care of patients set forth by organizational policies and in accordance with the standards of professional nursing practice.Utilizes specialized knowledge, judgement, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, as well as, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the patient to facilitate a safe discharge.Works collaboratively with other disciplines in care of patients.Participates in formal and informal educational programs to improve technical skills.Responsible for continued learning and application to practice.Responsible to provide patient and family education.It is understood that this is a summary of key job functions and does not include every detail of the job that may reasonably be required.Registration/Certification:Current MA RN LicenseAHA BLS certification required.Education/Experience Required:12 months of recent Acute Care RN experience preferred.Current telemetry experience preferred.Evidence of continuing education.Utilizes appropriate time management skills and communicates effectively.Documented Professional Development activitiesKnowledge of Critical PathsCharge Nurse experience preferredBSN preferredAHA ACLS certification preferredPay Range:$37.14 – $82.22This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
