Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking an RN Clinical Coordinator for the Progressive Cardiac Unit (PCU) in Columbia, SC. This full-time role covers AM/PM shift with 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM hours and includes a sign-on bonus of $20,000.

Provides operational shift oversight, delegates care to staff, and ensures timely admission, transfer and discharge while upholding nursing standards and patient safety across the unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: BSN required; ADN/diploma may be accepted if enrolled in RN-to-BSN/MS program.
• At least 2 years of specialty nursing experience in the last 5 years.
• Current SC RN license; certification as required by unit within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Establishes positive rapport with patient and family.
• Provides education to patient and family about condition and self-care.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and collaborates with health care team.
• Oversees shift operations and delegates care to staff.
• Coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharge to ensure smooth transitions.
