RN Clinical Coordinator, Mobile Wound Program

What You’ll Do:

  • This role will carry out four key responsibilities: Quality Improvement, Practice/program Coordination, Relationship Management, and Clinical Coverage to support Nurse Practitioners.
  • The RN will be called to provide care directly under the supervision of the Wound Care Medical Director.
  • The RN will work closely with Nurse Practitioners, facility team members, home health teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient outcomes.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Current RN license in the State of Maine.
  • At least three years of nursing required, 5 years of nursing preferred, or 2 years of nursing experience and at least one year of equivalent work experience.
  • Specialized training and certification in wound care required within 6 months of hire, including any of the following:
    • Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN)
    • Certified Wound Specialist (CWS)
    • Certified Wound Care Associate (CWCA)
    • Wound Care Certification (WCC)
    • Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP)
    • Advanced Wound Care Certification (AWCC)
    • Certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (CWOCN)
  • Specialized training and certification in wound care required within 6 months of hire from one of the following accreditation boards:
    • Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB)
    • American Board of Wound Management (ABWM)
    • National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO)
