Job summary

Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator/Educator for Critical Care Units, Progressive Care Unit and Cardiac Step Down Unit. The role supports patient safety and care delivery through nursing processes and education.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator/Educator assists the Department Director or Patient Care Manager(s) in ensuring the delivery of safe patient care through the nursing process by:

• Assisting with patient care issues
• Providing education
• Serving as a clinical resource to staff during the assigned shift
• Working with the Professional Development Department to ensure all staff are compliant with required education and routinely assessing clinical competencies for appropriate staff

Requirements:

• Current unrestricted AL or Multi-State RN licensure; BSN preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of start date.
• 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse; 3 years of recent ICU bedside experience preferred.
