We are seeking qualified RNs with at least six months of experience for a sign-on bonus of $20,000 (eligibility requirements apply). Depending on your location, you may also qualify for an additional relocation bonus up to $8,000.

About the Department

The ED Observation unit at St. Anthony Hospital is a 16-bed department handling over 300 patients monthly, primarily for observation of chest pain, abdominal pain, and other diagnoses. We accept transfers from surrounding free-standing EDs and focus on timely, safe, and quality care. This fast-paced environment offers a great opportunity to gain emergency medicine experience and work closely with physicians and mid-level providers.

Responsibilities
  • Support department leadership by coordinating clinical activities and serving as a resource to staff.
  • Provide high-quality patient care with strong clinical judgment.
  • Facilitate communication between physicians, staff, patients, and families.
  • Contribute to coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ensure patient safety and adherence to care standards.
  • Act as a professional role model demonstrating ethical and legal nursing practices.
  • Participate in patient care, including taking assignments based on unit needs.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • One year of RN experience required.
  • Current RN license in the state or participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact.
Physical Requirements
  • Medium work exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Shift: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm, full-time days.
