Job summary

Cookeville Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Coordinator, Registered Nurse for the 5 East Unit (5E Medical Stepdown/Pediatrics). This full-time, day-shift role provides professional nursing care using the nursing process within an assigned unit and coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

In this leadership position, you will supervise staff, assign patient care tasks, and ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• BLS required upon hire or within three months

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process within an assigned unit; assesses, treats and cares for patients with understanding of cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation processes; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Oversees the work of other professional and non-professional personnel.
• Coordinates patient care with social services, case management and other disciplines.
