Job summary

Live Well Homecare in Georgia is seeking an experienced RN to fill the Clinical Charge Nurse role, overseeing daily unit operations on a designated shift and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

You will direct staff, round on patients, collaborate with physicians and leadership to improve patient flow, participate in performance improvement, and mentor team members while maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse (multi-state license preferred).
• BLS required; ACLS preferred or required depending on role.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience; relief charge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates staff activities, makes patient assignments, and manages unit resources.
• Rounds on patients, evaluates care quality, and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians, staff, and leadership to optimize patient flow and safety.
• Participates in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Mentors team members, supports professional development, and serves as a role model.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in unit staffing, resource planning, and clinical protocol development.
