Job summary

Froedtert ThedaCare West Bend Hospital is seeking a Nursing Leader to coordinate clinical operations and ensure continuity of patient care during night shifts. The role requires strong leadership and collaboration with departmental leadership to maintain high standards of care.

The successful candidate will have a Nursing degree (BSN/MSN), an active Wisconsin RN license, BLS, and ideally ACLS. This on-site role includes shift 3, night hours, and duties in the absence of senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree (BSN or MSN) is required.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership competence.
• Licensure: Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license under the NLC; BLS required within 90 days; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with departmental leadership to maintain continuity of patient care.
• Responsible and accountable for all hospital operations in the absence of Executive, Administrative and Departmental leadership.

Job Summary

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in which leadership competence has been demonstrated is required. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: None. EDUCATION REQUIRED: Degree in Nursing (Baccalaureate or Graduate) is required. If in position as of December 1, 2012, this educational requirement will be waived. EDUCATION PREFERRED: Graduate Degree (Nursing or Related Field) is preferred. TRAINING REQUIRED: None. TRAINING PREFERRED: None. SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: None. SPECIAL SKILLS PREFERRED: None. LICENSURE REQUIRED: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire. LICENSURE PREFERRED: American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
