Job summary

McPherson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Clinic Quality Analyst to support Rural Health Clinic operations and quality improvement by driving care gap closures, improving outcomes, and ensuring CMS measures are met.

You will work with medical staff and leadership to analyze data, develop improvement plans, audit documentation, and monitor billing and reimbursement workflows to ensure high quality care and compliant processes. Strong communication and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Active KS nursing license required (RN or LPN) and BLS certification.
• Experience with quality improvement and data analysis in a clinical setting.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and prioritize care gaps and quality measures through EMR and payor data.
• Provide ongoing support to clinic team by identifying and correcting documentation needs.
• Assist clinic in identifying patient care opportunities for upcoming scheduled patients.
• Maintain, track, analyze, and correct data of care gap closures and quality measures.
• Perform concurrent chart audits for reimbursement readiness and adherence to standards.
• Identify trends to determine provider education needs and process improvements.
• Review programs to ensure care aligns with evidence-based standards of care.
• Collaborate with billing to review current processes and opportunities for additional charges.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and develop new measurement methods.
• Create reports summarizing findings and recommendations for improvements.
