Job summary

University Health seeks a Clinic Manager RN for Linwood Primary Care Clinic in Kansas City, MO. The role leads ambulatory operations and supports patient-centered care with a focus on staff development and process improvements.

You will guide daily clinic operations, staffing, quality initiatives, and data reporting while partnering with senior leadership to achieve objectives. Missouri RN licensure and nursing degree required; minimum 3 years of management in healthcare.

Qualifications

• RN license in Missouri.
• Bachelor's or graduate nursing degree.
• Minimum 3 years management experience in healthcare.
• BLS and/or ACLS certification.
• Knowledge of performance improvement processes and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Primary Care staff across campuses.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and manage staff including hiring, onboarding, and evaluations.
• Ensure staff maintain competencies to provide exceptional patient care and service.
• Manage staffing schedules to meet daily patient volumes and coverage needs.
• Oversee daily clinic operations, scheduling, patient transportation, and front-office activities.
• Develop training curricula and deliver education to support employee success.
• Promote a culture of quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
