Job summary

University Health seeks a Clinic Manager RN for the Linwood Primary Care Clinic. You will provide strategic leadership for ambulatory care operations, staffing, and patient services in a dynamic, multi-campus environment.

Lead performance improvements, manage budgets, and develop staff while ensuring high-quality patient care and a welcoming patient experience across the Linwood site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current Missouri RN License is required.
• Minimum three years of management experience, preferably in health care; those with a graduate degree in Nursing have two years leadership experience.
• BLS and/or ACLS credentials required.
• Knowledge of Performance Improvement processes and health care regulatory requirements.
• Participatory management experience involving clinical leadership and external/regulating bodies.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Primary Care staff across multiple campuses.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and manage staff including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and evaluations.
• Ensure staff maintain competencies to deliver exceptional patient care and service.
• Coordinate staffing schedules to meet daily patient volumes and adapt to needs.
• Support daily clinic operations including front office activities and patient scheduling.
• Coordinate recruitment, development, performance management, and departmental training.
• Develop training curricula and deliver education to support employee success.
• Serve as liaison between FQHC partners and University Health across divisions.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and measure outcomes.
• Oversee inventory and purchasing to ensure uninterrupted clinic operations.
• Partner with Senior Director on strategic planning and budgeting.
• Develop and manage annual department budget; monitor clinic statistics.
• Advance workflows and identify new services to grow the division and revenue.
• Lead data collection, reporting, and dashboard development for the Primary Care Division.
