Job summary

Medcor Inc in Fargo, ND is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Manager to lead our onsite occupational health clinic. This daytime Monday-Friday role offers autonomy to manage daily operations and make a meaningful impact on employee health and wellness.

You will oversee clinical care, triage, documentation, and coordinate with the operations team to maintain high-quality patient care. Ideal candidates hold an ND-based RN license and BLS/CPR, with occupational health experience

Qualifications

• Current ND RN license or multistate compact.
• Experience in occupational health or urgent care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of an onsite occupational health clinic.
• Provide clinical assessment, triage and treatment for workplace injuries.
• Perform health screenings and medical surveillance as required.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and return-to-work activities.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation per Medcor policies.
• Develop relationships with employees, site leadership and operations team.
• Promote workplace health, wellness, and safety initiatives.
• Ensure clinic supplies, equipment and records are properly maintained.
• Serve as primary clinical resource for onsite workforce with clinical support team.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Medcor RN Clinic Manager

• Manage the daily operations of an onsite occupational health clinic ensuring efficient and high quality patient care
• Provide clinical assessment triage and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses within your scope of practice
• Perform occupational health services including health screenings medical surveillance and other employer required testing
• Coordinate injury care follow up appointments and return to work activities
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with Medcor policies and applicable regulations
• Develop strong working relationships with employees site leadership and Medcors operations team
• Promote workplace health wellness injury prevention and safety initiatives
• Ensure clinic supplies equipment and medical records are properly maintained
• Serve as the primary clinical resource for the onsite workforce while collaborating with Medcors clinical support team

What Were Looking For

• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse RN license in North Dakota or a valid multistate compact license
• Previous clinical nursing experience preferably in occupational health emergency medicine urgent care or a similar setting
• Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and decision making skills
• Ability to work independently and confidently manage an onsite clinic
• Excellent communication organization and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with electronic medical records and basic computer applications
• Current BLSCPR certification
• Previous leadership clinic management or occupational health experience is a plus
