This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, and assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes. The role requires sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, involvement in activities aligned with strategic goals, and professional responsibility and accountability for one's own practice.

Education
  • Required - Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Work Experience
  • Required - None.
  • Preferred - Experience supervising or managing others.
Certifications
  • Required - Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred - Certification in a clinical specialty area.

  • Respect patient privacy, adapt communication and explanations to diverse patient populations, and obtain permissions.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
