PeaceHealth is seeking a RN Clinic - Cardiology for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $45.67 – $69.93.

The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Provides professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families, and all members of the care delivery team. Hours are 0700-1730 with a consistent day off.

***Hiring Bonus may be Available. ***

***Ideal Candidate***

  • 1 year RN experience
  • Triage experience
  • Cardiology experience

Details of the position:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs, including assessing patient’s condition, triaging calls, counseling, education, histories, medication administration, wound care, and vital signs.
  • Document patient care in healthcare records according to standards.
  • Maintain professional effectiveness through education and development.
  • Participate in policy, procedure, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention programs.
  • Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments related to patient care.
  • Screen and prioritize patient inquiries regarding medical care, prescriptions, insurance, and referrals.
  • Respond appropriately to urgent or emergency situations.

What you bring:

  • Accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Required: Registered Nurse in Washington state.
  • Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support.
  • Must have Oregon RN license at time of hire.
  • Ability to promote positive interpersonal relationships and patient/family-centered work environment (Required)
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office applications (Required)
  • Effective prioritization skills (Required)
  • Ability to provide health education to patients, staff, and community (Required)
  • Knowledge of Medicare, JCAHO, DNV & HCFA regulations pertaining to ambulatory care (Required)
  • Knowledge of age-specific principles of growth, development, and life stages to meet patient needs (Required)
