Description

Valor Healthcare is looking for a passionate RN Clinic Administrator to join our team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Cookeville. Valor operates more than 50 VA CBOCs across the U.S. as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We provide a full range of medical services tailored to meet local VA medical center needs, including primary care, diagnostics, laboratory, telehealth, behavioral health, and more.

As an RN Clinic Administrator with Valor, you will oversee all operational aspects of your CBOC. This role is highly tactical, focusing on the daily operations of the clinic.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Manage daily clinic operations, ensure clinical quality standards are met, provide exceptional customer service, and collaborate with the Clinic Medical Director.
  2. Ensure all team members deliver excellent service to veterans, colleagues, and visitors both in person and over the phone.
  3. Manage the clinic’s financial performance, focusing on revenue growth through enrollment and controlling non-personnel costs.
  4. Develop growth strategies for new enrollees and expand market reach, including outreach activities.
  5. Proactively manage veteran enrollment and retention, ensuring no veteran exceeds their annual visit limit.
  6. Maintain staffing levels aligned with veteran enrollment, contract requirements, and operational efficiency.
  7. Review and analyze reports on clinical quality, finances, staffing, and other relevant metrics.
  8. Attract, coach, mentor, and retain talent through effective communication, training, and performance management.
  9. Build and maintain positive relationships with VA partners and keep leadership informed of significant issues.
  10. Support and execute new initiatives and strategic plans to drive clinic success.
Requirements
  1. Minimum two years of healthcare management experience; government healthcare experience preferred.
  2. RN licensure from the state where the clinic is located; graduate degree preferred.
  3. At least four years of experience as a registered nurse.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Ability to manage upward and downward within the organization.
  6. Energetic, optimistic, and service-oriented demeanor.
  7. Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  8. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  10. Current BLS certification.
  11. This position is safety-sensitive.
