Job summary

St. Anthony Summit Hospital, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a Clinic RN to support ambulatory care teams, coordinate care, and promote patient engagement and safety using evidence-based nursing practices.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and strong clinical skills in IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, and patient education. Relocation assistance and a housing stipend are available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing; Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current state RN license or a participating state license in the National Licensure Compact.
  • BLS through American Heart Association.
  • Exert up to 50lbs occasionally, up to 20lbs frequently, and up to 10lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Evaluates patient responses and intervenes to optimize outcomes.
  • Develops and implements patient care plans with the inter-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrates competency in IV therapy, wound care, meds administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
  • Provides patient/family education and evaluates teaching effectiveness.

Job description

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Clinic RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families, utilizing best practices to maximize patient engagement and self-management efforts.

Every day you will promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act, all while demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care and organizational mission.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with strong clinical nursing acumen in ambulatory care, knowledge of community health concepts, and expertise in case management and care coordination.

  • Assesses patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
  • Evaluates patient's response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
  • Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including but not limited to IV's, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
  • Provide patient/family education through assessment of patient/family learning readiness, needs, and ability.
  • Provide teaching and evaluate effectiveness of teaching. Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health and safety and rights of each patient. Thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.

We are offering up to $8,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

$400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek, Lake, and Chaffee Counties. Must work at least 80% physically on-site at a CommonSpirit Mountain Region site in Summit County and full time or part time status (PRN ineligible). More details available upon offer.

Required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

$33.15 - $59.67 /hour
