Responsible for assisting the cardiologists and surgeons in the clinic, outreach, and hospital setting. The RN is responsible to obtain and document the initial history of present illness, past medical history, and current medications prior to the physician seeing the patient. The RN is responsible for implementing and carrying out the plan of care established by the physician either through delegation to the appropriate departments or completing the plan themselves.
Monday through Friday; Saturdays with AHH Call MD; Variable work hours according to MD schedule. 20-30 hours per week.
Graduate of a nursing program. Two years of critical care experience is preferred
Registered Nurse with current state licensure or licensure from a state within the Nursing Compact . MN licensure required within 6 months of start date. Current BLS and ACLS certification
