Job summary

MemorialCare in Laguna Hills, CA is seeking a Clinical Educator RN for the ICU. This full-time, day-shift role requires leading education initiatives for nursing staff and collaborating with unit leadership to advance clinical practice.

Minimum three years of clinical experience and two years of education experience are preferred, with active CA RN licensure and BCLS/ACLS certification required. BSN mandatory; MSN preferred.

Purpose Statement

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Medical Center. The Clinical Nurse Educator is a professional Registered Nurse with advanced skill and training in teaching adults and who develops, coordinates, and provides educational opportunities to all levels of nursing staff.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

2. Advances professional practice through the establishment and maintenance of collaboration relationships and activities to enhance delivery of effective, efficient patient care.

4. Participates in activities that promote professional practice through education and other activities that enhance the practice of nursing and education.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
