Job summary

Staffing Care Pro’s Ambulatory Surgery Center in Carmel/Westfield, IN seeks an RN Circulator to join a fast-paced surgical team. The role focuses on perioperative care, maintaining a sterile environment and coordinating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and techs.

The ideal candidate will have Indiana RN licensure, BLS, 1–2+ years in ambulatory surgery, and a collaborative mindset. This full-time direct-hire position offers a competitive hourly rate and a supportive, growth-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Active RN license – Indiana (or compact license transfer)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred or required by start date)
• 1–2+ years perioperative or circulating experience
• Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-driven surgical setting

Responsibilities

• Serve as circulating nurse during procedures, maintaining sterile environment
• Perform pre-operative patient assessments and verify documentation, consents, and site requirements
• Coordinate surgical case flow and communicate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs
• Maintain intraoperative documentation and patient records
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond to changes
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases
• Provide patient and family education before and after procedures as needed
