Position: RN FT Charge for the PCU East/Telemetry department

Job Duties:
  • Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
  • Perform patient tests and administer medications within RN scope of practice
  • Promote patient independence through education and care planning
  • Use experience and judgment to perform tasks and achieve goals
Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current RN license in Texas or a compact state
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
  • ACLS and PALS certifications within 90 days of hire
  • At least 1 year of RN experience in the current unit; supervisory experience preferred
