Qualifications

• Must be an active Registered Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.
• Has completed a RN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• During rounds observes, assesses, documents, and reports resident condition/changes.
• Administers medications as prescribed and conducts narcotic reconciliation.
• Discharge residents per facility policy and communicate with point of contact about status changes.
• Communicate with resident’s point of contact when there is a change in condition; initiate incident reports when needed.
