Signature HealthCARE of Norfolk is seeking a seasoned RN to join our 169-bed facility. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, support ADLs, and contribute to a safe, compassionate environment within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift.
• Monitor and observe residents’ physical and emotional status; notify physician of changes.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans with the team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility policy.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
