Knollwood Life Plan Community in Washington, DC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care, administer medications, and lead on the assigned shift. Work within an interdisciplinary team to uphold quality care and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include medical administration, care planning, family communication, and participating in quality initiatives. Must have DC RN licensure and BLS/CPR, with 2+ years in geriatrics or related settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the District of Columbia (DC), in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric settings.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (MatrixCare, PCC, Epic, or Cerner).

Responsabilités

• Provide direct resident care and administer medications.
• Serve as clinical lead on assigned shift, supervising staff as needed.
• Monitor resident conditions and escalate changes to the charge team/physician.
• Engage families with updates and education on health status and care transitions.
• Maintain CMS documentation, HIPAA, and infection control compliance.
