Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Elizabethtown is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time, 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation. You will provide direct nursing care, supervise nursing assistants, and coordinate admissions and care plans in a 112-bed facility offering short- and long-term care.

We value compassionate care, strong clinical judgment, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong observation, medication administration and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with federal/state long-term care regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs and ensure dignity, comfort and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift.
• Monitor residents' status and notify physicians of changes.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges per procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff education.
