Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Elizabethtown is seeking an experienced RN for full-time, 12-hour shifts from 7p to 7a with weekend rotation. You will deliver direct nursing care, manage medications, and supervise nursing staff to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role is preferred.
• Strong documentation and medication administration skills.
• Familiarity with federal and state long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring comfort, dignity and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift.
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional status and report changes to physician.
• Develop, implement and review individualized resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per facility policy.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers and discharges per procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, staff education and regulatory surveys.
