Job summary

St. Catherine of Siena Nursing and Rehabilitation and Hospital, members of Catholic Health, seek a Charge Nurse to oversee patient care within a nursing facility. You will work with the Unit Manager to coordinate services and lead nursing staff in alignment with our care philosophy.

The role requires an RN with an Associate Degree, a Bachelor's Degree preferred, and at least 3 years in long-term/sub-acute care. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Job Details

The Charge Nurse is responsible for patient care within a specific area in the nursing facility. This includes working with the Unit Manager in coordinating the services of all contributing disciplines and administering the nursing component of the care within the espoused nursing philosophy. The incumbent is guided by a comprehensive knowledge of current nursing theory and practice; knowledge of organization and departmental functions; policies, regulations, and procedures of the Nursing facility; knowledge and application of principles of leadership.

Qualifications:

• RN Associates Degree required,


• Bachelors Degree preferred.


• Minimum 3 years experience long term/sub acute care preferred.

Special Requirements:

• General office equipment, personal computer, Nursing Home computer system.


• Experience in team based environment desirable. Previous leadership experience preferred.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills essential.

Salary Range

USD $56.15 - USD $58.71 /Yr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
