Job summary

Endeavor Health's Elmhurst Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for the Central Resource Team. This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week with night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am, located at Elmhurst Hospital.

The RN provides professional care in line with state laws and hospital policies, performs assessments, plans and evaluates care, and collaborates with the care team to meet unit goals.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• If ADN highest, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Basic Life Support.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within one year of start date into position.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assesses patients' condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress and records observations.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and works as a team member to fulfill unit goals.

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing
