Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend shifts. This part-time role offers 7p-7a Saturday and Sunday, with call as needed.

The nurse will provide clinical care, assess patients, delegate tasks, and collaborate with the care team to meet unit goals. Requires an associate degree in nursing and IL RN license; ACLS/PALS certifications preferred with timely completion.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN encouraged).
• Current State of Illinois RN license and CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to work weekends and part-time hours.

• Provide nursing care and monitor patient status.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, with documentation.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with the team.
• Maintain patient safety and respond to changes in condition.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

  • 7p to 7a Sat & Sun

  • Call Requirements (minimal as needed)

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education:

  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

• License/Certification:

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position

  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
