Job summary

Henry Ford Health seeks a nurse leader to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care in the HF Macomb - Oakland Hospitals CDU Observation Unit. The role requires BSN and Michigan RN licensure, with BCLS and IBCLC within 12 months, and WOCNCB/NCCA/CNA within 18 months.

You will communicate with patients and families, develop care plans, supervise care, and participate in solving variances from patient goals. This is a night shift position in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications/Licensures Required

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS). RN Lactation Consultant: IBCLC certification must be acquired within 12 months of hire & maintained. One to two (1-2) years as a Lactation Consultant/Specialist preferred. RN Wound Care: Completion of accredited wound care program (before certification requirements). WOCNCB®/NCCA/CNA certification within 18 months of hire; certification must be maintained and current.
