Job summary

Qualifications

• Inpatient experience or equivalent clinical background with strong written and oral communication and critical thinking.
• Knowledge of anatomy/physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and ability to learn inpatient admission criteria.
• Familiarity with or ability to learn coding concepts and clinical terminology.
• Ability to read and analyze health records and facilitate physician communication.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates improvement of clinical documentation through physician queries.
