Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking an RN to administer and coordinate nursing care, ensuring patient safety and compliance with state regulations and hospital standards. The role requires active RN licensure, BCLS, and offers opportunities to obtain ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification after hire.

Part-time and full-time positions are available, with a 36-hour work week and night shifts. Training is provided in-house, with expected growth in critical care competencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• RN licensure by Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 3 months from date of hire.
• Avade workplace violence prevention training (Level II) required after hire.

Job Summary: Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, patient care services department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license. BCLS required. ACLS is preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months. NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 3 months from date of hire. Certification in area of expertise preferred. Avade workplace violence prevention training (Level II) required after hire, not to exceed 3 months, and maintained annually. EXPERIENCE: No experience required for part time and full time employees. Prefer Critical Care.
