Description

$20,000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE for qualified applicants

Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking qualified talent to fill the position of RN for our Cath Lab Department. This position is permanent, full-time.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care procedures.
  • Documents patient care provided.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition appropriately to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Acts as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Qualifications
