Job summary

Memorial Hermann Cypress Cath Lab is seeking an experienced RN for a part-time role, Mon-Fri 10a-2p with no on-call requirements. The ideal candidate has a BSN, and 2+ years in RN Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology, with strong Cath Lab knowledge and procedural workflow.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, perform nursing assessments, educate patients, and maintain accurate medical records while adhering to MH policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current State of Texas license (or temporary/compact) to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and nursing unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and professional nursing care to Cath Lab patients according to the nursing process.
• Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatments, documents medical records.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinates care plans, discharge and transfer planning.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and adheres to Memorial Hermann standards.

Job Summary

Memorial Hermann Cypress Cath Lab department is seeking an experienced RN to join their team. Must have BSN, 2 or more years of RN Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience. Must have a strong understanding of Cath Lab procedures, supplies and workflow! This is an excellent part-time opportunity for an experienced Cath Lab RN who is ready to step away from the demands of a hands on procedural role while still utilizing\\ their Cath Lab knowledge and expertise.

Mon‑Fri/10a-2p, no on call responsibilities.

Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. Minimum Qualifications

Principal Accountabilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients, according to the nursing skills inventory and the age and needs of the patient/population served.
• Coordinates the planning for the delivery of nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and administers appropriate clinical decisions in the delivery of patient care.
• Collaborates with, directs, and may delegate to the healthcare team in the attainment of positive outcomes based on data, research, evidence, and professional standards of care.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops/implements discharge and/or transfer plans.
• Participates in a systemic, interdisciplinary, and ongoing evaluation of programs, process improvement and desired client-centered outcomes.
• Considers the diverse needs of each patient through the entire continuum of care, providing and ensuring the highest level of service according to established service standards, optimizing the patient experience.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned, within scope of practice and clinical competency.
