Department/Unit Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Cath Lab with one procedural room for diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, PPM/ACID implants, Peripheral Angiograms and Interventions and a 7-bed pre/post area. PCI coverage Monday - Friday 7am - 7:30pm, three times per month EP coverage begins at 12pm. Registered Nurses (RNs) are on call once per week and one weekend every 6 weeks for late post care, on call for Cardiology Stress Testing, TEE/Cardioversions, Temp Pacemaker insertion and Pericardiocentesis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a unit focused on high patient care through teamwork, autonomy and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:

  • BLS and ACLS required
  • RCIS and Cath Lab experience preferred
  • ICU/ED experience recommended
