Job summary

CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha, NE is seeking a RN for a Metro Float Pool Cath Lab/IR role across Immanuel, Lakeside, Bergan Mercy and Mercy (Council Bluffs) facilities. You will perform critical assessments and skilled procedures, delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Active RN licensure in NE/IA or compact, BLS and ACLS within 5 months required. A BSN is preferred with 12–18 months experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required in NE, IA, or compact. BLS required. ACLS required within 5 months of hire.
• BSN preferred; 12-18 months experience desirable.
• Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Follow the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Provide individualized, comprehensive care in Cath Lab/IR.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Education and discharge planning are included in care coordination.

• Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.
• Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors
• Plan – Sets measurable and achievable short and long term goals according to standards of care based on the assessment by the nurse in collaboration with the healthcare consumer and multidisciplinary team.
• Implement – Implements and/or modifies the plan of care using assessment data, clinical reasoning based upon standards of care and evidence based practice.
• This includes care coordination, education and discharge planning.

Your experience will be rewarded with 25% premium differentials, in addition to standard night and weekend pay. We are also offering a $6,000 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 educational assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

• Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 5 months of hire
• Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas.

Preferred

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing
• 12-18 months experience

Pay Range

$36.00 - $52.20 /hour
