Responsibilities

• Provide cath lab nursing care for adult patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergent cases.
• Work under safety and care standards, guiding issues and patient needs in the absence of a physician.
• Use judgment and critical thinking in patient care decisions, integrating standards, resources, and data.
• Maintain continuous contact with physicians, patients, families, community agencies, and staff.
• Ensure quality care, direct patient care, provide education, seek resources, and delegate tasks as appropriate.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• At least one year of related acute care experience preferred.
• Experience in cardiac cath labs or within the past three years in ICU, PCU, PACU, ER is preferred.
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump experience is a plus.

License/Certification

• Current RN licensure in Washington State.
• American Heart Association Healthcare BLS Certification.
• ACLS certification or within six months of hire.
• CCRN certification preferred.

IV competency must be attained within four months; training available.

Pay Range

$46.02 - $76.71 per hour
