Description:The position is for a registered nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab.The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.EPIC experience is necessary; first-time travelers are not accepted.The traveler will participate in a weekend call rotation.They must have current certifications in ACLS and BCLS.On-call requirements are between 12-15 days, depending on staffing levels.Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs when volumes are low.The floating may include areas such as preoperative, postoperative, and interventional radiology.The department performs special procedures including cardiac catheterization and percutaneous coronary interventions.It also covers vascular procedures, pacemaker, and ICD implants.As part of the role, complete pre/post care of all outpatients is required.Working in a short-term acute care hospital setting is essential.All staff members must comply with specific safety regulations, including respirator clearance.Failure to meet safety requirements will result in cancellation of the position.Travelers must complete modules prior to the start of the assignment, which are not billable.Failure to shave for fit testing will also lead to cancellation.All travel clinicians are subject to a one-year limit and must take a six-month break before returning as a traveler.
